Hockinson apparel is finally here! You can pick what you want from a t-shirt, hat or many other items. The size, color, and whether to put the logo on the front, back, or a pocket are all things you get to decide. So have some fun and start creating your own custom Hockinson spirit wear items! Also orders you place through ThreaDesigns for your team sports, a reunion or any other event support our schools too. Why support the HockinsonPWT
Annually at both the Primary and Intermediate Schools we provide individual teacher grants of $200.00 each to help support classroom needs. These grants also include the Music and P.E. teachers along with computer lab, reading specialist and school counselor. The Heights library on average has also received a $1,000.00 grant yearly. The principal is also given a grant for special school needs. Also provided are refreshments for the open houses, support for award ceremonies, Intermediate Science Fair, and put money aside to help bring in an author and or a cultural event. We also have money available for field trip scholarships if needed.. When you are out on the playground at the Primary School, please enjoy the new monkey bar system and ball toss game that PWT purchased over the summer. Also 23 new tables for the Intermediate School were purchased for the science fair and other daily uses. Last year we were excited to bring the new student clickers technology to one whole class.
How to Support
This year PWT has two major fundraisers at the Primary and Intermediate Schools. Our first big fundraiser of the school year is selling PAYBACK Coupon Books. Our goal between the Primary and the Intermediate School is to raise $10,000.00. There are prize incentives for selling five, ten, or fifteen Payback Books. The class with the most books sold will receive an ice cream party.
A second Fall fundraiser will be HOLIDAY gift wrap, packets will be going home the first week of October. To keep cost down, PWT will be sending one gift wrap catalog home per family. If more than one child in the family would like to sell gift wrap and earn prizes, additional order forms will be available at the school. We hope you will help support P.W.T. and Hockinson Schools by participating in our major fundraisers.
