Hockinson P.W.T. is your district’s parent teacher organization.  The purpose of Hockinson P.W.T is to promote the health, welfare, safety and education of the children of Hockinson by providing cooperation between parents and schools, as well as providing financial support.  The main P.W.T. fundraisers at the Primary/Intermediate schools are $crip and Payback books.  The final $crip profit for the 2006/2007 year was $9,224.58. A total of 160 families participated, including 30 district staff employees.  Of these families, 60 participated on a regular basis.  The final Payback book profit for the 2006/2007 school year was $10,380.00.  The $crip and Payback profits are split between the Primary and Intermediate schools.  The main fundraiser at the middle school is for P.W.T. to assist ASB with the magazine sale.  ASB gives PWT a fee to provide the manpower to process and handle the accounting for the magazine sale.  The profit for the 2006/2007 school year was $2000.  The main fundraiser at the High School is the Bazaar.  The profit for the Bazaar for the 2006/2007 school year was $3201.98.  P.W.T. believes that to show our appreciation for the many families who supported these fundraisers last year it is important to be transparent about how fundraiser monies are being spent.  The following are some of the many ways that PWT was able to make significant contributions to our schools because of your support.
